They spent 8 weeks throwing strings of lights in trees and setting up alien and dinosaur displays. There's no holiday feel to the place at all and the lady rambling on the radio station you can tune in to needs a better script. It's really just a mess of old and new displays with no rhythm.
My family and I always enjoy our tradition of coming here and seeing Santa. The Santa tonight was very rude and kept insisting my youngest son, who is 2, was a girl and wanted princess poppy presents. Even after I and my oldest kept telling him he is a boy and my oldest kept saying he likes Mickey Mouse. My oldest is only 6 and tonight made him question Santa because of it and it was heartbreaking. My selection of pictures to pick from was horrible too. They only took one where my 2 year old was looking forward and didn't even give him time to really look at the camera. This all made for an absolute horrible experience this year and I spent almost $20 on a really sad looking picture but didn't want to walk out with nothing. Very disappointed
After reading the previous reviews I almost didn't go but I'm so glad we did. This was the best light display I've been too. The kids loved it and we got the cutest photo with santa. The lights are extremely different in the best way. It's so whimsical and can't wait to come back next year!!
Save yourself the time and money.
A waste of $22. We were very disappointed. Not much of a holiday feel. Not sure when aliens and dinosaurs became a part of Christmas?? Through part of it they actually have 2 rows of cars going side by side then the mess of the 2 lanes merging. You sit in one spot longer then you do driving. A complete Christmas failure. Won't be back.
They added a area of laser lights that you can barely see past the brake lights... i am not going to rant anymore... I will find another venue and this is the end of a family tradition.. Truly sad
My reason you may ask....
The new area setup cars going side by side??? you can't see half the display past the car next to you . You hear the kids in car next to you (they can hear me then) and this family adventure is a not so private adventure. If i wanted to mingle i would go to the garden glow.
I have been going here for 16 ish years and never left thinking it was a mistake. This will be the last year I go.
Anyway, for $22, we definitely feel cheated. There are better light displays at surrounding homes in the area and they even offer the holiday feel all for free.
